Ive had gas powered trimmers in the past…but no longer..And the pre wound replacement spools are great…although a little pricey they cut down on aggrevation..and make the job much easier

Need to have replacement line, buy what works, perfectly
I had my wireless Grasshog for 4 months now, and I tell you, this line and the system of agreements are well designed, easy to use, self-powered, and easy to replace. I had no problem and I do not cut week during the summer. His hard-line many hours on the standard batch trimming city. There is no reason to try to use a substitute cheep, it has long been, and it is allowed for the automatic feeding system (AFS). Buy now or at any hardware store for about 6-8 dollars. A bargain!

Definitely worth the money - even with the shipping charge! With the price of gas these days, I probably saved money (and time and frustration) by not driving around trying to find the exact part I needed- popped right in and worked like a charm.
