Wonderfull!
I cannot understand why anyone would ever rate this camera low, and most reviews on electronics support me.
I have 2 SLR digital cameras both at 10.6 megapixels. i needed something a little smaller that i could carry around with me since the SLR cameras are so big. I picked this guy up and was impressed with since the first time i started playing with it.
The image stabilization and facial recognition software is very impressive, and the amount of pre-set light settings makes it super easy to get the best shot.
Basically, for the amount of camera you get for the money, and how easy and beautiful the pictures come out, you cannot find a better camera.
Update (2/3/2012): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen. I also found some auctions for this item here.

you get what you pay for…
PRO:
-excellent pictures in good, natural lighting
-small size
-megapixels (obviously)
CON:
-Terrible pictures in anything less than bright light
I have taken close to 800 pictures on this camera since first buying it a few months ago and have since bought my first SLR (so my standards may just have been to high for this Kodak EasyShare).
For the $$, it is a pretty sweet deal. The camera has 10.2 megapixels, 3x zoom, comes with a nice sized memory card (holds about 500 pictures), 2 rechargeable batteries and a camera case. Nice deal, don’t know if you could get that for the price anywhere else (I paid $120). If I was going to do it over though, I’d spend a little more to get a better zoom, a more thoroughly and positively reviewed camera that, hopefully would have a stringer flash. I wanted it to be the camera that I take out in a little bag for a night on the town. I think it will sadly dissappoint in that area.
My advice… spend a little more, get your money’s worth :0)

Not easy to use, poor picture quality
I had a kodak easyshare LS743 and loved it. It was my first digital camera. It took great pictures, processed quickly, and took amazing videos. I dropped 100 times and it held up (I have 3 kids). The only reason I wanted to replace it was because I knew it was time to get more megapixels and upgrade the lcd screen. I bought this camera thinking it would have the same qualities. I was wrong.
The picture somehow has worse quality with 10.2 megapixel than my 4.0. The button used to scroll through the menu can barely be pressed on the left side because of the groove of the camera. The video sound was low and weak.
I would not recommend this camera to anyone. Major disappointment.
