It isn’t waterproof
According to the packaging, the flashlight is only water resistant, not waterproof. Those are not the same. Water resistant means it is OK in rain and damp conditions. Waterproof means that it can be submerged.
Update (2/6/2012): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen. I also found some auctions for this item here.

Crank up flashlight
Small, handy and makes a good beam of light. An excellent addition to your emergency kit.

Love it!
I love this little flashlight. It’s bright and the best part is the crank. It doesn’t even need batteries! Great for those unexpected blackouts. Another great product from LifeGear!
