The flashlight!
Simply put, this thing is fantastic. It was great reach for the beam which has an adjustable focus to dial from spotlight to straight beam. The flashlight itself is lightweight but once the 5 batteries are in it, it becomes hefty but still easily manageable. It’s long so if used in a job such as security, it can be used as a club also. Well worth the money, you will get the use out of it.
Update (2/6/2012): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen.

Maglite dependable
Maglite’s are no longer the chief of brightness, but their rugged construction and dependability are undisputed. This version is as much a defense weapon if needed. I’ve tested their guarantee, and Maglite comes through. Shipping was quick and painless.
