pretty quiet. fast FW800. mostly problem free
Previously I had an OWC 1TB drive as back up for my iMac. It was in RAID-0 and also FW800 so it was fast. But loud! And I would only turn it on for backing up data.
It stopped working after a year so I purchased a couple LaCie 750GB [...]

The description for this product says “Full kit includes drive cables, installation and management software, and illustrated instructions”.
